Connexive logics are orthogonal to classical logic insofar as they validate certain non-theorems of classical logic involving mainly negation and implication. Systems of connexive logic have been motivated by considerations of a content connection between the antecedent and consequent of valid implications, cancellation-like accounts of negation, as well as by applications that range from Aristotle's syllo gistic to Categorial Grammar and the study of caus al implications.
\nAs interests in topics related to connexive logics are growing, the seven th workshop aims at discussing directions for futu re research in connexive logics. Special focus wil l be given to discussions on the nature of connexi vity, the place of connexive logics among non-clas sical logics, the historical roots of connexive lo gics and empirical research on connexivity and con nexive principles.
