SUMMARY:7th Workshop on Connexive Logics, Mexico C
 ity, Mexico
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20221026
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20221028
LOCATION:Mexico City, Mexico
DESCRIPTION:Connexive logics are orthogonal to cla
 ssical logic insofar as they validate certain non-
 theorems of classical logic involving mainly negat
 ion and implication. Systems of connexive logic ha
 ve been motivated by considerations of a content c
 onnection between the antecedent and consequent of
  valid implications, cancellation-like accounts of
  negation, as well as by applications that range f
 rom Aristotle's syllogistic to Categorial Grammar
 and the study of causal implications. As interest
 s in topics related to connexive logics are growin
 g, the seventh workshop aims at discussing directi
 ons for future research in connexive logics. Speci
 al focus will be given to discussions on the natur
 e of connexivity, the place of connexive logics am
 ong non-classical logics, the historical roots of
 connexive logics and empirical research on connexi
 vity and connexive principles. Any papers related
  to connexive logics are welcome. Topics of intere
 st include (but are not limited to) the following:
     -Philosophical and historical considerations o
 f the notion of connexivity;    -Examinations of v
 arious systems of connexive logics;    -Relations
 between connexive logics and other non-classical l
 ogics, such as relevance or conditional logics;
  -Philosophical implications of connexive logics;
    -Empirical studies on the scope of connexivity.
