DESCRIPTION:The aim of WPTE is to bring together t
 he researchers working on program transformations,
  evaluation, and operationally based programming l
 anguage semantics, using rewriting methods, in ord
 er to share the techniques and recent developments
  and to exchange ideas to encourage further activa
 tion of research in this area.  WPTE 2022 is affil
 iated to FSCD 2022, part of FLoC 2022, Haifa, Isra
 el. Invited speaker: Akihisa Yamada, National Inst
 itute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technolog
 y (AIST), Japan.  For the paper submission deadlin
 e an extended abstract of at most 10 pages is requ
 ired. The extended abstract may present original w
 ork, but also work in progress. Based on the submi
 ssions the program committee will select the prese
 ntations for the workshop. All selected contributi
 ons will be included in the informal proceedings d
 istributed to the workshop participants. One autho
 r of each accepted extended abstract is expected t
 o present it at the workshop. Submissions must be 
 prepared in LaTeX using the EPTCS macro package.
