DESCRIPTION:ADFOCS is organized as part of the act
 ivities of the Algorithms and Complexity Group and
  the International Max-Planck Research School of t
 he Max-Planck-Institut für Informatik. The scope o
 f ADFOCS is international. Young researchers at th
 e PhD student or postdoc level are cordially invit
 ed to participate. The goal of ADFOCS is to have h
 ot topics from fundamental areas of computer scien
 ce presented by top researchers in the field, brin
 ging participants to the frontiers of current resa
 rch.    For this year's ADFOCS we have three main 
 speakers. Each of them is giving two 90-minute lec
 tures with subsequent exercise and discussion sess
 ions. There will be further lectures and activitie
 s as well. The main speakers are:  -- Tamal Dey, O
