DESCRIPTION:Workshop to mark the end of the NWO Vi
 di project The Language of Fiction and Imagination
 , Groningen, September 29-30, 2022.  Topics of int
 erest include any philosophical and linguistic top
 ics related to fiction (fictional truth/reference,
  imagination, pretense, fiction-making speech acts
 , etc) or narrative (unreliable narration, coheren
 ce, perspective, attributing mental states, etc), 
 and with a special focus on how these categories i
 nteract with differences of modality/media (signed
 , spoken, written, pictorial, movies, videogames).

 eserving some space in the program for short pitch
 es (5-10 minutes, tbd) and/or posters so (junior) 
 researchers interested in participating have the o
 ption to present research related to the workshop 
 themes. If you're interested, submit a short (max 
 1 page) abstract through the form on the website. 
 We'll make a quick selection (without anonymous pe
 er review). Deadline for submitting the short abst
 ract is August 24 (midnight). Notification of acce
 ptance before August 30.
