The Multi disciplinary International Symposium on Disinforma tion in Open Online Media (MISDOOM) is returning f or its 5th edition on 21 and 22 November 2023. Thi s time, the conference will be hosted by the Natio nal Research Center for Mathematics and Computer S cience (CWI) at Amsterdam Science Park (Netherland s).
\nMISDOOM values multidisciplinary res earch and is designed to be inclusive of different academic disciplines and practices.
\nThe symposium provides a platform for researchers, in dustry professionals, and practitioners from vario us disciplines such as communication science, comp uter science, computational social science, politi cal science, psychology, journalism, and media stu dies to come together and share their knowledge an d insights on online disinformation.

nger Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) form
at describing original unpublished and new researc
h. The work should be structured like a research p
aper, and cover the context of the problem studied
, the research question, approach/methodology, and
results in 6 to 15 pages.
- Authors can also choose to submit an Extended Abstract. The e xtended abstract should not exceed 500 words, excl uding references, and can pertain to previously pu blished work, ongoing projects, or new research id eas. Submissions are not archival and are not form ally published. Additionally, authors must submit a conference program abstract of no more than 150 words.
