The Stude nt Session of the 35th European Summer School in L ogic, Language, and Information (ESSLLI) will take place at ESSLLI 2024, on 29 July - 9 August 2024 in Leuven, Belgium. This is an excellent opportuni ty for students to receive valuable feedback from expert readers and to present their work to a dive rse audience.
\nWe invite sub missions of original, unpublished work from studen ts in any area related to Logic & Language, Langua ge & Computation, or Logic & Computation in the fo rm of long (8 pages) or short (4 pages) papers (in cluding references, figures, etc.). Submissions wi ll be reviewed by several experts in the field. Ac cepted long papers will be presented as talks, whi le short papers will be presented as posters. Shor t papers are especially suited for smaller or in-p rogress research works.
\nFor both long an d short papers, the best contributions (submission plus presentation) will receive an award. In prev ious years Springer has supported the ESSLLI Stude nt Session by offering prizes of vouchers for Spri nger books. We aim to offer the same prizes this y ear. Such prizes will be awarded based on the cont ent and quality of the paper and the presentation at ESSLLI . The ideas presented should be novel an d promising. The presentation at ESSLLI should be adapted to the wide variety of backgrounds that ES SLLI participants come from: everybody should be a ble to learn/understand something new.
