Computati onal Linguistics in Bulgaria (CLIB) is an internat ional conference that aims at exploring novel appr oaches and methods in computational linguistics an d natural language processing (NLP), especially wi th a view to their application to small and less-r esourced languages such as Bulgarian and the bridg ing of the discrepancies between big and small lan guages with respect to language technologies.
\ nCLIB invites contributions on o riginal research, both long and short papers. Long papers must describe substantial, original, compl eted, and unpublished work. Long papers may consis t of up to eight (8) pages of content. Short paper submissions must describe original and unpu blished work dealing with a small, focused contrib ution. Short papers may consist of up to four (4) pages. In order to encourage talented young resear chers, the best paper with a Master/PhD student am ong the authors and presenting the work at the con ference will be awarded a small prize and a diplom a. CLIB 2024 also solicits submissions presen ting project reports, new data resources, system d emonstrations, position papers.
