The works hop aims to bring together researchers who work on formal philosophy broadly construed who are eithe r members of traditionally underrepresented groups or who work outside of what is perceived as ``tra ditional’’ topics in logic and formal philosophy. It will be an occasion for dialogue between resear chers who identify as members of underrepresented groups in academia and researchers who work on top ics generally regarded as non-standard in the acad emic tradition.
\nConfirmed speakers inclu de: Gillian Russell (ANU), Sara Uckelman (Durham) and Frederique Jannsen-Lauret (Manchester). The wo rkshop will be followed by a panel discussion on h ow to make formal academic philosophy a more inclu sive environment.
\nWe invite submissions from members of traditionally underre presented groups of extended abstracts (up to 1000 words) for 3 contributed talks. Any abstract rela ted to logic or formal philosophy written by resea rchers who are either part of traditionally underr epresented groups or working on 'non-traditional' logic and formal philosophy is welcome. We particu larly encourage submissions on formal topics from a more diverse and interdisciplinary perspective. We particularly encourage interdisciplinary submis sions.
