DESCRIPTION:The International Conference on Comput
ational Models of Argument (COMMA) is a regular fo
rum for presentation and exchange of the latest re
search results concerning theory and applications
of computational argumentation. This year the bien
nial COMMA event will be hosted at the FernUnivers
ität in Hagen, Germany. COMMA 2024 will be precede
d by the sixth edition of the Summer School on Arg
umentation (SSA 2024). In addition to the main con
ference track, COMMA 2024 will include system demo
nstrations, as well as workshops devoted to specif
ic argumentation-related themes. We are happy to
announce that the following workshops will take pl
ace prior to the COMMA 2024 conference:   - 24th I
nternational Workshop on Computational Models of N
 atural Argument (CMNA 2024)   - 2nd International
Workshop on Argumentation for eXplainable AI (ArgX
AI 2024)   - 5th International Workshop on Systems
and Algorithms for Formal (SAFA 2024) We invite
submission of original and unpublished work. Paral
lel submission to journals or other conferences or
workshops with published proceedings is not permi
tted. The conference includes a Regular Track and
an Innovative Applications Track. As to the latter
, we encourage the submission of original papers a
bout innovative applications, e.g., in law, medici
ne, e-democracy, risk assessment, intelligent user
  interfaces, recommender systems, argument mining
etc. Innovative applications papers will be assess
ed in an equally rigorous reviewing procedure as r
egular track papers. The reviewing process is sing
le blind. The length of each submission for both R
egular and Innovative Applications papers must not
exceed 12 pages. We also invite submissions of d
emonstration of systems and tools. Authors of acce
pted submissions will be invited to present their
demonstrations during a special demonstration sess
ion. All those intending to demonstrate a system s
hould notify the demonstrations coordinator Tjitze
Rienstra by e-mail no later than 04 April 2024.
