DESCRIPTION:Logic and Philosophy is a biennial con
 ference organised and hosted by Vilnius University
 . The conference is intended as a venue for philos
 ophical discussions on logic broadly construed. We
  invite submissions that address philosophy of log
 ic, philosophical issues related to classical or n
 on-classical logics, the history of logic, and phi
 losophical applications of logic.  Invited speaker
 s: Timothy Williamson (Oxford / Yale), Graham Prie
 st (CUNY), Sara L. Uckelman (Durham), Iryna Khomen
 ko (Kyiv). A special session, with contributions b
 y Timothy Williamson and Graham Priest, dedicated 
 to the nature of logic and validity is planned as 
 part of the programme. Related talks are particula
 rly welcome.  Prospective authors are invited to s
 ubmit abstracts suitable for anonymous review. Abs
 tracts should not exceed 1000 words. Papers based 
 on the presented talks will be considered for publ
 ication in Problemos Supplement, a philosophy jour
 nal run by Vilnius University Press. Authors of th
 e selected talks are expected, though not required
 , to contribute.
