The Australasian Association for Logic wi ll hold its annual conference in hybrid form at (using Zoom for the online component) fro m Tuesday 26 November to Thursday 28 N ovember, 2024. The physical location will be the U niversity of Sydney in Sydney, New South Wal es, Australia. The conference aims to bring togeth er logicians, either based in Australasia or with the desire to connect with logicians based in Aust ralasia, working in mathematical, computational, o r philosophical logic. The conference is intended to provide a platform for presentation and exchang e of ideas.
\nThere will be three one-hour invited talks on different logic topics. The spea kers will be No am Greenberg (Victoria University of Wellingto n), Annalisa Conversano (M assey University), and Manfred Droste (Univ ersity of Leipzig).
\nWe invi te submission of abstracts in any area of logic, b roadly construed. To submit, send an anonymized sh ort abstract (at most 2 pages) and title by email with the subject “AAL 2024”. The soft deadli ne for submissions is 5 September. Submissio ns will be accepted for consideration until the ha rd deadline of Saturday, 20 September. Decisions w ill be sent out in late September. We would like t o encourage submissions from members of groups tha t are underrepresented in logic.
