The Latin -American Symposium on Dependable and Secure Compu ting (LADC) is the major event on dependability an d security of computer systems in Latin America. L ADC 2024 will feature technical sessions, workshop s, tutorials, fast abstracts, keynote talks from i nternational experts in the area, and an industria l track.
\nLADC'2024 will be co-located wi th the XIV Brazilian Symposium on Computing System s Engineering (SBESC), in Recife, Brazil, November 26 to 29 2024.
\nProspective authors are invited to submit original research p apers for presentation at the symposium in two cat egories: (1) full research (regular) papers, and ( 2) practical experience reports.
\nPapers will be assessed with criteria appropriate to each category. LADC looks for works exploring new terr itory, continuing significant research, or reflect ing on practical experience. While full research m anuscripts should explore a specific technology pr oblem and propose a complete solution to it, with extensive results, practical experience reports ar e expected to provide an in-depth exposition of pr actitioner experience and empirical studies.
\nAll aspects of dependable and secure sy stems and networks are within the scope of LADC, i ncluding fault-tolerant architectures, protocols, and algorithms, models for performance and dependa bility evaluation, as well as, experimentation and assessment of dependable and secure systems and n etworks. Authors are invited to submit original pa pers on research and practice of creating, validat ing, deploying, and maintaining dependable and sec ure systems and networks.
