SUMMARY:Computability in Europe (CiE 2007), Siena,
  Italy
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20070618
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20070623
LOCATION:Siena, Italy
DESCRIPTION:CiE is a European network of mathemati
 cians, logicians, computer scientists, philosopher
s, theoretical physicists and others interested in
new developments in computability and in their un
derlying significance for the real world. CiE 2
007 will address various aspects of the ways compu
tability and theoretical computer science enable s
cientists and philosophers to deal with mathematic
al and real world issues, ranging through problems
related to logic, mathematics, physical processes
, real computation and learning theory. At the sam
e time it will focus on different ways in which co
mputability emerges from the real world, and how t
his affects our way of thinking about everyday com
putational issues. CiE 2007 will be co-located
with the annual CCA (Computability and Complexity
in Analysis) Conference For more information, an
online registration form and a preliminary progra
 m, see http://www.mat.unisi.it/newsito/cie07.html
The Programme Committee cordially invites all re
searchers to submit their papers for presentation.
Submission deadline is Jan 12, 2007.
