It was fi rst organized in 1990 by the French logician and l inguist Bruno Poizat and the Kazakh logician Tolen do Garifuly Mustafin in Kazakhstan. The colloquium was attended by more than 70 participants from al l over the world. Most of the participants from ne ighboring countries were from the USSR, and there were several researchers from France led by Bruno Poizat from afar. Bruno Poizat is now an honorary professor at E. A. Buketov Karaganda University an d L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, and the Eighth International Conference "Kazakh- French Logical Colloquium" will now be held a t L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Asta na, Kazakhstan) on June 24-27, 2025.
\nPle nary (30-40-50 min.), contributed and sectional (1 5-20 min.) talks are planned. The official languag es of the conference are Kazakh, Russian and Engli sh.
