LOCATION:Fort Lauderdale, Florida
DESCRIPTION:The International Symposium on Artific
ial Intelligence and Mathematics (ISAIM) is a bien
nial meeting that fosters interactions between mat
hematics, theoretical computer science, and artifi
cial intelligence. This is the tenth Symposium in
the series, which is sponsored by Annals of Mathem
atics and Artificial Intelligence. We seek submiss
ions of recent results with a particular emphasis
on the foundations of AI and mathematical methods
used in AI. Papers describing applications are als
o encouraged, but the focus should be on principle
d lessons learned from the development of the appl
ication. Traditionally, the Symposium attracts par
ticipants from a variety of disciplines, thereby p
roviding a unique forum for scientific exchange. T
he three-day Symposium includes invited speakers,
presentations of technical papers, and special top
ic sessions (including sessions on "Logic in AI" a
nd "Computation and Social Choice"). For more i
 nformation, see http://isaim2008.unl.edu/. Pape
 r Submission Deadline: Monday 1 October 2007.
