ManyV al is a prospective series of international worksh ops on the logical\n and algebraic aspects of many-valued reasoning. The aim of the workshops \n is to gather both established and young researchers sharing an interest\n for a spe cific topic. Accordingly, each edition has a sharp focus. The\n attendance is limited to appr oximately thirty participants in order to\n facilitate close and informal interaction. There are no parallel sessions.\n

ManyVal'08 will focus on:

\n S
tates of MV-algebras and generalizations

\n
Topological dualities in algebraic logic

\n Measure theory on dual spaces of algeb
ras of logics

\n Subjective probabilit
y and many-valued reasoning.\n
