SUMMARY:BLAST 2008 (Boolean Algebra, Lattice Theor
y, Algebra, Set Theory, Topology), Denver CO, USA
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20080806
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20080810
LOCATION:Denver CO, USA
DESCRIPTION:BLAST is a new conference series focus
ing on Boolean algebras, Lattices, Algebraic logic
and universal algebra, Set theory, and set-theore
tic and point-free Topology. The 2008 conference i
s the first in a series that will rotate among uni
versities of the region. The conference will inc
lude tutorials, as well as a mini-course in Forbid
den Configurations in Lattices. We would very mu
ch appreciate a (non-committing) reply to blast at
math.du.edu indicating your level of interest in
the conference at the moment. This will be very us
eful in our planning for local accommodation, tran
sportation and classroom reservations. Please repl
y by March 30. For more information, see http://
math.du.edu/blast/ To apply to give a contribute
d talk, please email a title and abstract to the o
rganizers at blast at math.du.edu by June 10th (ex
tended deadline). After June 10th, contributed tal
ks may still be accepted, depending on available s
 pace.
