DESCRIPTION:The 18th Workshop on Logic-based metho
 ds in Programming Environments will take place in 
 Udine (Italy), as a satellite workshop of ICLP 200
 8, the 24th International Conference on Logic Prog
 ramming. This workshop will continue the series of
  successful international workshops on logic progr
 amming environments held since 1989. The workshop 
 aims at providing an informal meeting for research
 ers working on logic-based methods and tools which
  support program development and analysis. This ye
 ar, we plan to continue and consolidate the shift 
 in focus from environmental tools for logic progra
 mming to logic-based environmental tools for progr
 amming in general, so that this workshop can be po
 ssibly interesting for a wider scientific communit
 y. In addition to papers describing more conceptua
 l and theoretical work, the call for papers will s
 olicit papers describing the implementation of, an
