DESCRIPTION:AP-CAP 2008 is part of the series of c
 onferences organised by the International Associat

 p.org). This is the first time this conference is 
 being held in India. As with the other CAP confere
 nces, AP-CAP 2008 will deal with all aspects of th
 e "computational turn" that is occurring through t
 he interaction of the disciplines of philosophy an
 d computing. However, there are also some specific
  themes which would be the focus of this meet. The
  themes are:   (*) Contemporary issues in philosop
 hy of information and computation  (*) Computation
 , algorithm and mathematics  (*) Computation and a
 lgorithms in Indian mathematics and linguistics  (
 *) Indian logic and its relationship with computat
 ion/computer science  (*) Culture and information
