SUMMARY:7th Conference on Formal Concept Analysis
 (ICFCA 2009), Darmstadt, Germany
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20090521
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20090524
LOCATION:Darmstadt, Germany
DESCRIPTION:Formal Concept Analysis emerged in the
1980's from attempts to restructure lattice theor
y to promote better communication between lattice
theorists and potential users of lattice theory. S
ince then, Formal Concept Analysis has developed i
nto a growing research field in its own right with
a thriving theoretical community and an increasin
g number of applications in information and knowle
dge processing including visualization, data minin
g, analysis and knowledge management. The confer
ence aims to unify theoretical and applied practit
ioners using Formal Concept Analysis drawing from
the fields of Mathematics, Computer and Informatio
n Sciences, Software Engineering, as well as diver
se application domains such as Linguistics or Life
Sciences. Other aspects are welcome. For more i
 nformation, see http://www.icfca2009.h-da.de/ We
call for scientific publications on theory and app
lications of Formal Concept Analysis. For each pap
er, an abstract must be submitted by December 1, 2
 008.
