SUMMARY:Symposium on Games, Argumentation and Logi
 c Programming, Luxembourg
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20090423
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20090424
LOCATION:Luxembourg
DESCRIPTION:The symposium brings together leading
researchers working at the interface of the three
disciplines: game theory, logic programming, and a
rgumentation theory. Inspired by Dung's seminal wo
rk "On the Acceptability of Arguments and its Fund
amental Role in Non-monotonic Reasoning, Logic Pro
gramming and N-persons games" (Artificial Intellig
ence, 1995), it aims at fostering the interaction
between these active but historically autonomous s
ubareas of nonmonotonic and practical reasoning.
The symposium is organized by the Individual and
Collective Reasoning Group of the University of Lu
xembourg. Registration is free but required. More
