SUMMARY:"Mathematical Logic in the Netherlands", N
 ijmegen, The Netherlands
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20090525
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20090526
LOCATION:Nijmegen, The Netherlands
DESCRIPTION:This meeting is intended to be the fir
st issue of a series of yearly meetings on Mathema
tical Logic (and related areas) in the Netherlands
. Rather than a specialized conference, where adva
nced research results are reported, we aim to get
to know each other better and, by understanding th
e various branches of logic represented in the Net
herlands, strengthen our community. We have res
erved a generous amount of time for expository tal
ks, but also strongly encourage contributions by y
oung researchers and Ph.D. students. In all, we ho
pe to create an environment where we can share com
mon interests and where we may fruitfully explore
possibilities of collaboration in research, Ph.D.
projects, and teaching. See also the web site of
  the symposium: http://www.math.ru.nl/~mgehrke/MLN
 L09/MLNL09-mainpage.htm. Please register with the
local organization. If you'd like to speak, please
send an e-mail to Bas Spitters: spitters at cs.ru
 .nl.
