DESCRIPTION:The Indian School on Logic and Applica
 tions is a biennial event. The first school was he
 ld during January 2006 at IIT Bombay and the secon
 d school during January 2008 at IIT Kanpur. The ob
 jective is to present before graduate students and
  researchers of the country, some basics as well a
 s active research areas in logic. The School typic
 ally attracts students and teachers from mathemati
 cs, philosophy and computer science departments. T
 he School is complemented by a biennial conference
 . The third conference was held at IMSc, Chennai, 
 in January 2009, and the proceedings published as

 invites proposals for workshops for the School, in
  the broad interdisciplinary area connecting logic
  and the foundations of mathematics with artificia
 l intelligence, computing science and philosophy.
