  support, promote, and foster the study of logic (

 pplications in artificial intelligence, computer s
 cience and linguistics; above all, it aims to enco
 urage communication between logicians working in r
 elated fields.   The Annual Meeting of the British
  Logic Colloquium will be held at the Department o
