The P anhellenic Logic Symposium, a biennial scientific event\n established in 1997, aims to promote interaction and\n cross-fertilization among d ifferent areas of logic. Originally\n conceiv ed as a way of bringing together the many logician s of\n Hellenic descent throughout the world, it has evolved into an\n international forum for the communication of state-of-the-art\n advances in logic. The symposium is open to resear chers\n worldwide who work in logic broadly c onceived. The Eighth\n Panhellenic Logic Sym posium will be hosted by the Department of\n Computer Science at the University of Ioannina.\n

\nThe scientific program of the symposium will consist of\n one-hour long inv ited talks, three-hour long tutorials, and\n twenty-five-minute presentations of accepted contr ibuted papers.\n There will also be special o pportunities for students to give\n short tal ks, and receive comments on work in progress.\n

Original papers that fall withi n the scope of the symposium\n are solicited. Prospective speakers of twenty-five-minute\n presentations are invited to submit an extended abstract, in\n English, not exceeding five pa ges, by 25 March 2011.\n
