SUMMARY:Computability in Europe 2011 (CiE 2011): M
odels of Computation in Context, Sofia (Bulgaria)
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20110607
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20110702
LOCATION:Sofia (Bulgaria)
DESCRIPTION:Computability in Europe provides the l
argest international conference dealing with the f
ull spectrum of computability-related research. Ci
E 2011 is the seventh conference in the series and
emphasises the connections and context, within th
e traditional CiE respect for researchers' autonom
y and diversity of approach. CiE in Sofia will b
ring context, multidisciplinary perspective and co
mputability- theoretic focus to a wide spectrum of
disciplines - including computer science, mathema
tics and logic, physics and quantum theory, biolog
y and informatics, linguistics and philosophy, neu
roscience and learning theory. CiE serves as an in
terdisciplinary forum for research in all aspects
of computability and foundations of computer scien
ce, as well as the interplay of these theoretical
areas with practical issues in computer science an
d with other disciplines such as biology, mathemat
ics, philosophy, or physics. We particularly invit
e papers that build bridges between different part
s of the research community. For more informatio
 n, see http://cie2011.fmi.uni-sofia.bg or contact
cie2011 at fmi.uni-sofia.bg. The Programme Commi
ttee cordially invites all researchers in the area
of the conference to submit their papers (in PDF-
format, at most 10 pages) for presentation at CiE
 2011. Deadline for submissions: January 14, 2011.
