DESCRIPTION:The First International Workshop on Lo
 gic, Rationality and Interaction (LORI-I) took pla
 ce in Beijing in August 2007, with participation b
 y researchers from artificial intelligence, game t
 heory, linguistics, logic, philosophy, and cogniti
 ve science. The workshop led to great advances in 
 mutual understanding, both academically and cultur
 ally, between Chinese and foreign logicians. Due t
 o the success of LORI-I, we have decided to contin
 ue organizing LORI at various places in China and 
 possibly other countries in Asia and the Pacific A
 rea in the future.   The Third International Works
 hop on Logic, Rationality and Interaction (LORI-II
 I) will take place in Guangzhou, China, during Oct
 ober 10-13, 2011. The Workshop will feature a dist
 inguished roster of invited speakers, refereed con
 tributed papers, poster and tutorials sessions for
  students, as well as cultural events and excursio

 d paper bearing on any of the broad themes of the 
 LORI workshop series, including knowledge acquisit
 ion, use, and management, information exchange, ra
