 his premature departure. The conference intends to
  discuss Lewis' long-lasting contribution in the f
 ields of logic and metaphysics, with particular fo
 cus on the nature of modality, his views on possib
 le worlds, counterfactuals, causation, and convent
 ion. We also wish to provide a setting for young p
 hilosophers and logicians to present topics relate
 d to Lewis' philosophy and discuss the state of ar
 t of his legacy in the contemporary philosophical
