SUMMARY:Coordination, Organizations, Institutions
and Norms in Agent Systems (COIN@WI-IAT'11), Lyon
 , France
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20110822
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20110822
LOCATION:Lyon, France
DESCRIPTION:Coordination, organizations, instituti
ons and norms are four key governance elements for
the regulation of open multi-agent systems, and t
he COIN workshop creates a space for lively debate
and exploration of these four elements that are c
entral to the design and deployment of open system
 s. Furthermore, in the last three years there has
been much interest from the Service Engineering co
mmunity to adopt agent-based coordination and orga
nisational approaches in order to bring flexibilit
y and adaptiveness to new generations of Service-O
riented applications. Thus the workshop topics are
also very relevant to the broader Service Enginee
ring and Semantic Web communities. For more info
 rmation, see http://mmi.tudelft.nl/coin-wi-iat2011
/ We seek to attract high-quality papers addressi
ng mathematical, logical, computational and pragma
tic aspects of the workshop themes, including repo
rts on experiences with agent-oriented systems tha
t have been adapted for service-oriented environme
nts. Abstract submission deadline: April 1, 2011
