SUMMARY:Workshop on Computational Models for Spati
al Languages (CoSLI 2011), Boston MA, U.S.A.
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20110720
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20110720
LOCATION:Boston MA, U.S.A.
DESCRIPTION:The main objective of the CoSLI-2 work
shop is to foster computational formalisms and app
roaches for interpreting or generating spatial lan
guage that take into account cognitive, functional
, or embodiment criteria in modeling. In particula
r, this year's workshop theme is "Function in Spat
ial Language: From evidence to execution". CoSLI 2
011 is held in conjunction with CogSci 2011. For
more information, see http://cosli.org/ We cordi
ally invite you to submit extended abstracts that
aim to address the issues of modeling function or
pragmatic features in spatial language interpretat
ion or generation or that address the issue of sym
bolic and embodied spatial language interpretation
and generation in general. Abstracts may present
novel ideas or work in progress on processing spat
ial language. Deadline for Extended Abstract (2 pa
 ges): 20 June 2011.
