DESCRIPTION:The winter school will provide an in d
 epth coverage of lattices and their role in crypto
 graphic constructions. Among other things, we will
  study the basics of lattices, hard problems on la
 ttices and advanced reductions between problems. I
 n addition, we will study cryptographic constructi
 ons based on lattices. These will include encrypti
 on, interactive protocols, advanced encryption (id
 entity based and others), and finally recent advan
 ces in fully homomorphic encryption. The school pr
 ogram includes approximately 20 hours of lectures,
  a social dinner and an excursion.    The target a
 udience for the school is graduate students and po
 stdocs in cryptography (we will assume background 
 in cryptography, but not lattices). However, facul
 ty, undergrads and professionals with the necessar
 y background are all welcome. The winter school is
  open to participants from all over the world; all
