 2. The first SLALM (Simposio Latinoamericano de Ló
 gica Matemática) was held in 1970 in Santiago de C
 hile and subsequent meetings have taken place in B
 razil, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Cost
 a Rica, and Mexico. In addition to plenary talks, 
 this meeting willinclude four special sessions on 
 Algebraic and Non-classical logics, Model Theory, 
 Recursion and Computer Science Logic, and Set Theo
 ry. Four tutorial courses are planned during the w
