SUMMARY:4th International Workshop on Computationa
l Social Choice (COMSOC-2012), Krakow, Poland
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20120911
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20120913
LOCATION:Krakow, Poland
DESCRIPTION:Computational social choice is a rapid
ly growing discipline at the interface of social c
hoice theory and computer science. It is concerned
with the application of computational techniques
to the study of social choice mechanisms, and with
the integration of social choice paradigms into c
omputing. The aim of the workshop is to bring tog
ether different communities: computer scientists i
nterested in computational issues in social choice
; people working in artificial intelligence and mu
ltiagent systems who are using ideas from social c
hoice to organize societies of artificial software
agents; logicians interested in the logic-based s
pecification and analysis of social procedures; co
mputer science theorists analyzing algorithmic pro
perties of social phenomena; and last but not leas
t people coming from social choice theory itself.
  For more information, see http://home.agh.edu.pl/
 ~faliszew/COMSOC-2012/. Submissions of papers on
all aspects of computational social choice are now
  invited. Deadline: 25 May 2012
