SUMMARY:27 or 28 August 2012, Workshop "Computatio
nal Creativity, Concept Invention, and General Int
 elligence 2012", Montpellier, France
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20120827
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20120828
LOCATION:Montpellier, France
DESCRIPTION:The targeted audience for the workshop
are researchers associated with the fields workin
g in the development of computational models for c
reativity, concept formation, concept discovery, i
dea generation, and their overall relation and rol
e to general intelligence. Furthermore, researcher
s coming from application areas, like computer-aid
ed innovation (CAI) are welcome to submit papers f
or this workshop. For more information, see http:
//www.cogsci.uos.de/~c3gi. This workshop is part o
f ECAI 2012. We invite papers that make a scienti
fic contribution to the fields of computational cr
eativity, idea generation and/or artificial genera
l intelligence, with possible topics ranging from
theoretical studies of human creativity, inventive
capacities and intelligence (that in some way pro
pose a computational model for the respective capa
bility), through more practical contributions repo
rting on creative, inventive or generally intellig
ent computer systems (we particularly welcome impl
ementations offering general or at least multiple
sorts of results) and studies of systems and softw
are supporting and/or guiding humans in the creati
ve or inventive act, to application-based reports
from fields like design, architecture or arts. Sub
missions connecting to several of the aforemention
ed topics are highly encouraged and welcome. Paper
submission deadline: 28th of May, 2012.
