DESCRIPTION:The ever expanding abundance of inform
ation and computing power enables researchers and
users to tackle highly interesting issues, such as
applications providing personalized access and in
teractivity to multimodal information based on use
r preferences and semantic concepts or human-machi
ne interface systems utilizing information on the
affective state of the user. The general focus of
the AIAI conference is to provide insights on how
AI can be implemented in real world applications.
Also research papers describing advanced prototype
s, innovative systems, tools and techniques are en
couraged. General survey papers indicating future
 directions and professional work-in-progress repor
ts are of equal interest. Acceptance will be based
on quality, originality and the practical value o
f the work. We are certain that it will provide a
stimulating forum for scientists, engineers and st
udents. Authors are invited to electronically sub
 mit original, English-language research contributi
ons no longer than 10 pages formatted according to
the well known LNCS Springer style, or experience
reports. Submitted papers must present unpublishe
d work, not being considered for publication in ot
her journals or conferences. Three special Issues
of distinguished scientific journals will be edite
d with selected papers. Deadline for Full paper su
bmission: 22nd of April 2012. For more informati
