DESCRIPTION:ALI, the Association for Logic in Indi
 a, announces the next edition of its biennial (Int
 ernational) Indian Conference on Logic and its App
 lications (ICLA), to be held at the Institute of M
 athematical Sciences, Chennai, from January 10 to 
 12, 2013. ICLA is a forum for bringing together re
 searchers from a wide variety of fields that forma
 l logic plays a significant role in, along with ma
 thematicians, philosophers and logicians studying 
 foundations of formal logic in itself. The confere
 nce has also included studies in systems of logic 
 in the Indian tradition, and historical research o
 n logic.   This year's speakers will include Josep
 h Halpern, Martin Otto, Mark Reynolds and Gabriel

 ting original and unpublished research in any area

  theoretical computer science, artificial intellig
 ence and other disciplines which are of direct int
 erest to mathematical and philosophical logic, as 
 well as articles on the relationship between logic
  and other branches of knowledge, or on history of
