 onference on Agents and Artificial Intelligence (I
 CAART) is to bring together researchers, engineers
  and practitioners interested in the theory and ap
 plications in these areas. Two simultaneous but st
 rongly related tracks will be held, covering both 
 applications and current research work within the 
 area of Agents, Multi-Agent Systems and Software P
 latforms, Distributed Problem Solving and Distribu
 ted AI in general, including web applications, on 
 one hand, and within the area of non-distributed A
 I, including the more traditional areas such as Kn
 owledge Representation, Planning, Learning, Schedu
 ling, Perception and also not so traditional areas
  such as Reactive AI Systems, Evolutionary Computi
 ng and other aspects of Computational Intelligence
  and many other areas related to intelligent syste
 ms, on the other hand.  For more information, see

 bmission of position papers (resenting an arguable
  opinion about an issue). Deadline for position pa
 pers is set for next October 29.
