DESCRIPTION:The ICAIL conference is the primary in
 ternational conference addressing research in Arti
 ficial Intelligence and Law, and has been organize
 d biennially since 1987 under the auspices of the 
 International Association for Artificial Intellige
 nce and Law (IAAIL). ICAIL provides a forum for th
 e presentation and discussion of the latest resear
 ch results and practical applications; it fosters 
 interdisciplinary and international collaboration.
  The conference proceedings are published by ACM. 
 The journal /Artificial Intelligence and Law/ regu
 larly publishes expanded versions of selected ICAI

 on of papers on a broad spectrum of research topic
 s. In addition to papers about results and finding
 s from systems, approaches, or theoretical models 
 (in the conference's regular track), we encourage 
 the submission of original papers about innovative
  applications. A session will be organized for the
  demonstration of creative, robust and practical w
 orking applications and tools. Finally, proposals 
 for workshops and tutorials are also invited. Dead
 line for submission: December 7, 2012 (workshop an
 d tutorial proposals) or January 11, 2013 (paper a
 bstracts).
