DESCRIPTION:The primary aim of the workshop is to 
 bring together researchers in the Netherlands who 
 work in theoretical philosophy: logic, the philoso
 phy of mind, philosophy of science and technology,
  epistemology, metaphysics and/or the philosophy o
 f language. With five presentations by prominent r
 esearchers, the workshop is meant to give an overv
 iew of state-of-the-art research in theoretical ph
 ilosophy in the Netherlands.   The workshop is ins
 pired by the initiative to start a Netherlands Res
 earch School in Philosophy (to be decided within t
 he next weeks). It will be held parallel to the Fo
 urth Annual Dutch Conference on Practical Philosop
 hy, and a Workshop on the History of Philosophy. W
 ith these three events, all philosophers working i
 n the Netherlands are invited for a conference or 
 workshop in the Auditorium building on the Eindhov
 en University of Technology campus on 2 November,
