SUMMARY:Workshop "Information and Trust Dynamics i
 n AI" (ITDAS'13), Beijing, China
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20130803
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20130805
LOCATION:Beijing, China
DESCRIPTION:Describing intelligent agents with the
help of cognitive and social notions is now well
established in the domain of artificial intelligen
ce. In the recent years, concepts such as trust, r
eputation, delegation, commitment and convention h
ave been proposed in order to describe how artific
ial agents interact in an artificial society or in
a virtual organization. This workshop aims at dis
cussing formal theories and logics of information
dynamics, in order to better understand how inform
ation circulates in an artificial society, how it
affects trust, and how it contributes to the const
ruction of reputation and collective attitudes, an
d to the emergence of conventions. The workshop is
an associated event of IJCAI-13. For more infor
mation, see the workshop website at http://www.iri
 t.fr/~Laurent.Perrussel/itdas-13/. Interested a
uthors are invited to submit their papers for pres
entation. Submission deadline is April 19, 2013.
