 9th edition of the Language Resources and Evaluati
 on Conference will take place in Reykjavik (Icelan
 d) on May 26-June 1, 2014.   LREC has become the m
 ajor event on Language Resources (LRs) and Evaluat
 ion for Human Language Technologies (HLT). The aim
  of LREC is to provide an overview of the state-of
 -the-art, explore new R&D directions and emerging 
 trends, exchange information regarding LRs and the
 ir applications, evaluation methodologies and tool
 s, ongoing and planned activities, industrial uses
  and needs, requirements coming from the e-society
 , both with respect to policy issues and to techno
 logical and organisational ones.  More information
