  where the modern logic has been taught since the 
 1930s by pioneers like Jin Yuelin. In recent years
 , several initiatives have been taken to make it f
 lourish once more. With the support of the newly e
 stablished School of Humanities at Tsinghua Univer
 sity, we are organizing this conference 14-16 Octo
 ber 2013 and invite an international and Chinese g
 roup of speakers to present their research works, 
 to show the broad interdisciplinary range of logic
  today, while also strengthening research contacts
