SUMMARY:11th European Workshop on Multi-Agent Syst
 ems (EUMAS 2013), Toulouse, France
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20131212
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20131213
LOCATION:Toulouse, France
DESCRIPTION:In the last two decades, we have seen
a significant increase of interest in agent-based
computing. This field is now set to become one of
the key technologies in the 21st century. The aim
of this Eleventh European Workshop on Multi-Agent
Systems is to encourage and support activity in th
e research and development of multi-agent systems,
in academic and industrial efforts. This workshop
is primarily intended as a European forum at whic
h researchers, and those interested in activities
relating to research in the area of autonomous age
nts and multi-agent systems, could meet, present (
 potentially preliminary) research results, problem
s, and issues in an open and informal but academic
environment. The scope of the event is defined
as the scope of the International Journal on Auton
omous Agents & Multi-agent Systems (JAAMAS), the I
nternational Conference on Autonomous Agents & Mul
ti-agent Systems (AAMAS), and the European Associa
tion for Multiagent Systems (EURAMAS). The sixth L
AMAS workshop (Logical Aspects of Multi-Agent Syst
ems) will be colocated with EUMAS-2013, as a speci
al session. For more information, see http://www
 .irit.fr/EUMAS2013/ EUMAS-2013 welcomes both unp
ublished papers and papers that are under submissi
on or have been published in a relevant conference
, workshop or journal. We specially invite submiss
ions by students that we think will receive valuab
le feedback from the the discussion-orientedfocus
of the workshop. Preliminary student work is welco
me; however it has to possess sufficient substance
for serving as a discussion basis and therefore h
as to pass the review cycle in the same way as oth
er work. Abstract submission deadline: October 14,
  2013
