DESCRIPTION:The biennial European Conference on Ar
 tificial Intelligence (ECAI) is Europe's premier a
 rchival venue for presenting scientific results in
  AI. Organised by the European Coordinating Commit
 tee for AI (ECCAI), the ECAI conference provides a
 n opportunity for researchers to present and hear 
 about the very best research in contemporary AI.  
 As well as a full programme of technical papers, E
 CAI'14 will include the Prestigious Applications o
 f Intelligent Systems conference (PAIS), the Start
 ing AI Researcher Symposium (STAIRS), the Internat
 ional Web Rule Symposium (RuleML) and an extensive
  programme of workshops, tutorials, and invited sp
 eakers. (Separate calls are issued for PAIS, STAIR
 S, tutorials, and workshops.) ECAI'14 will be held
  in the beautiful and historic city of Prague, the
  capital of the Czech Republic. With excellent opp
 ortunities for sightseeing and gastronomy, Prague 
 promises to be a wonderful venue for a memorable c
