 r Symposium will be held as a satellite event of E
 CAI-2014, the 21st European Conference in Artifici
 al Intelligence, in Prague in August 2014.  STAIRS
  is aimed at young researchers in Europe and beyon
 d, particularly PhD students, but also advanced Ma
 ster's students and postdoctoral researchers holdi
 ng a PhD for less than one year at the time of the
  paper submission deadline. STAIRS offers opportun
 ities to gain ex­peri­ence with submitting to and 
 presenting at an international event with a broad

 s in all areas of AI, ranging from foundations to 
 applications. Accepted papers will be presented ei
 ther orally or in a poster session. The paper subm
 ission deadline is 15 May 2014.
