DESCRIPTION:The biennial DEON conferences are desi
 gned to promote interdisciplinary cooperation amon
 gst scholars interested in linking the formal-logi
 cal study of normative concepts and normative syst
 ems with computer science, artificial intelligence
 , philosophy, organization theory and law. In addi
 tion to these general themes, DEON 2014 will encou
 rage a special focus on the topic "Deontic modalit
 ies in natural language".   This DEON will be colo
 cated with the 2014 edition of TiL (Trends in Logi
 c), 8 July - 11 July, same venue.   For more infor

 gram Committee invites papers concerned with topic
 s relevant to the conference or its special focus.
  We welcome theoretical work (formal models, repre
 sentations, logics, specifications, verification),
  implementation-oriented work (programming languag
 es, design models, simulations, prototype systems)
  and empirically driven work (linguistics). Abstra
 ct Submission Deadline: March 1, 2014.
