DESCRIPTION:PRUV 2014 is the first Workshop on Log
 ics for Reasoning about Preferences, Uncertainty, 
 and Vagueness. The aim of PRUV is to make research
 ers aware of and fruitfully discuss the most recen
 t application areas, new challenges and the existi
 ng body of work on logics for reasoning about pref
 erences, uncertainty, and vagueness, and to bring 
 together people from different communities (such a
 s the Artificial Intelligence and the Semantic Web
  community, among others), including theorists and
  practitioners, that are working on these topics. 
   PRUV 2014 is associated with the Vienna Summer o
 f Logic, a major event hosting logic conferences a
 nd workshops. In particular, PRUV will be hosted b
 y FLoC and associated to IJCAR.   For more informa

 ubmissions relating logic with preferences, uncert
 ainty and vagueness. We accept submissions of pape
 rs and results previously published in other major
