ems (EUMAS 2014), Prague, Czech Republic
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20141218

LOCATION:Prague, Czech Republic
DESCRIPTION:In the last two decades, we have seen
a significant increase of interest in agent-based
computing. This field is now set to become one of
the key technologies in the 21st century. The aim
of this 12th European Conference on Multi-Agent Sy
stems is to encourage and support activity in the
research and development of multi-agent systems, i
n academic and industrial efforts. This conference
is primarily intended as a European forum at whic
h researchers, and those interested in activities
relating to research in the area of autonomous age
nts and multi-agent systems, could meet, present (
 potentially preliminary) research results, problem
s, and issues in an open and informal but academic
environment. EUMAS 2014 is a designated event
of the European Association of Multi-Agent Systems
(EURAMAS). To attract students as well as experie
nced researchers, preliminary as well as mature wo
rk, EUMAS 2014 offers three submission types and f
ormal proceedings as well as post-proceedings in f
orm of a journal special issue are planned. For
  more information, see http://agents.fel.cvut.cz/e
umas2014/, or email the organizers, Jiri Vokrinek
 (jiri.vokrinek at fel.cvut.cz) and Michal Jakob (j
akob at agents.fel.cvut.cz). EUMAS 2014 welcome
s both original, unpublished papers, as well as pa
pers that are under submission or have been publis
hed in a relevant conference, conference or journa
 l. We specially invite submissions by students tha
t we think will receive valuable feedback from the
discussion-oriented focus of the conference. Prel
iminary student work is welcome; however it has to
possess sufficient substance for serving as a dis
cussion basis and therefore has to pass the review
cycle in the same way as other work. Abstract sub
 mission deadline: September 26, 2014
