 is a Dutch philosopher, linguist and logician. His
  work in formal semantics, most notably his Discou
 rse Representation Theory, is widely used both in 
 linguistics and in natural language processing.   
  A workshop in honor of Hans Kamp will be held on 
 the occasion of the award of a Doctor Honoris Caus
 a degree from the University of Lorraine. The work
 shop will focus on discourse semantics, especially
  on issues of its structure and dynamics, based on
  DRT.   There is no fees, but you need to be regis
