DESCRIPTION:The 'StUTS' is a biannually held Confe
 rence organized by and for students at different u
 niversities. Every semester, there are about 150 p
 articipants from various universities and colleges
  from all over Europe - anyone interested in lingu
 istics can join.    The programme consists mainly 
 of student talks - anyone (who wants to) is given 
 the possibility to present their own project, rese
 arch or paper, or give a language tutorial. Usuall
 y, a variety of different linguistic disciplines a
 re present. Furthermore, there will be intriguing 
 keynote presentations by professors from Hamburg U
 niversity, and of course there will be time for so
 me fun free-time activities, to get to know each o
 ther and also the beautiful city.    First and for
 emost, the conference offers the possibility to ga
 ther some experience in giving a scientific talk, 
 to present and discuss your own ideas with interes
 ted peers, to get to know other related fields of 
 linguistic research and to develop creative new ap
